There was a day I noticed something strange.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

My hands were still moving,
but my mind was no longer trying to fix.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

No checklist.
No mental image of what the surface should<\/em> become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just the object in front of me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until then, correcting felt responsible.
Smoothing here.
Adjusting there.
Erasing what didn\u2019t match the intention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Control looked like care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But slowly, correction became noise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every time I intervened,
the material lost a little of its voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That day, I paused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I didn\u2019t decide to stop correcting.
I simply didn\u2019t know what<\/em> to correct anymore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The surface wasn\u2019t wrong.
It was just\u2026 there.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Uneven.
Honest.
Still becoming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So I stepped back.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Not out of confidence.
Out of restraint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The object didn\u2019t collapse.
It didn\u2019t become chaotic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It settled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By giving up control,
I didn\u2019t lose direction \u2014
I gained attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The form no longer needed to be managed.
It needed to be witnessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That was the day I understood:
correction is not always improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes,
it\u2019s interruption.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
