A Place to Remember
A quiet space shaped with care.
A few weeks ago, a client shared a very personal request with me. It was made with great care and respect, and it deeply moved me. They wished for the urn of a loved one to find its place within a pot crafted especially for it.

The Peaceful Monolith gently integrates an urn within a landscape of rock and natural textures. A quiet presence. A grounded memory. Not to hide it, but to offer it a calm, simple, living place.
For this specific piece, the natural preserved greenery composition was created in collaboration with Mélanie Grenier, artisan and founder of Atelier Le Garage. Her sensitivity and thoughtful understanding of the project brought an added depth to the final composition. Together, we worked to ensure that the mineral strength of the hypertufa and the softness of the preserved moss lived in perfect harmony, offering a timeless landscape that requires no maintenance.
I worked on this piece the way I always do, slowly and attentively. Letting the material speak. Taking the time to understand what this project asked for, beyond its shape. When the urn finally found its place, something settled.
Extending the path of memory
Since then, other stories have come to me. Recently, another client asked me to create a space for a different, but equally precious, memory: that of a faithful companion.

For this second creation, we chose a vibrant arrangement of cacti, symbols of resilience, surrounding a small porcelain urn. This model shows how the “Jardin Silencieux” can adapt to different lives and different needs. The addition of a small figurine and a personalized plaque allowed this garden to become a unique sanctuary, reflecting a specific bond and a shared life.
It wasn’t an ending, nor an answer. It was more like a space. A place where memory could exist differently.
I feel honored to be able, in my own way, to soften such difficult moments. Losing a loved one, whether human or animal, leaves an immense emptiness. If my work was able to offer even a small sense of comfort, then it found its true meaning.
Each pot is different, because every story is unique. But our intention remains the same: to create with care, and to leave room for gentleness.
This testimony is shared with the consent of the people who placed their trust in us.
“If this project resonates with you, or if you hold a special intention you would like to transform into an object, I would be honored to discuss it with you. Please feel free to reach out. We will take the time to explore together, with simplicity, how to give shape to your memory.”
